Revealing my disconnect from underground (mainstream?), or perhaps just inability to think, when I first read principa discordia I took it to be the case that everything was all good and discord was being thrown in by malevolent players eager to feed off the misery, eg St Pepper feeding off the ” broken-hearted”, a conveniently broken class (because of taxononmy) that would pay for “medicine”. So why do neo-revolutionaries/anima align with discord? I’m so clueless. :) is it some reverse psych appropriation/assimilation? Don’t get it.

Digital Public Library of America

The DPLA is now real. Go forth and explore.

It’s not very often you get to build a new library. Together, that’s what we will begin to do today.  Starting with over two million items, each with its own special story and significance, the Digital Public Library of America will now begin to assemble the riches of our country’s libraries, archives, and museums, and connect them with the public.

TLC – Diggin' On You (1,422 plays)

TLC Diggin On You

"

You embrace me mottled, I leave you shimmering like watered silk; I embrace you as a network, you leave me as a bundle. We caress each other along our contour lines, we leave each other with various knots, in embraces that have changed shape.

If you want to save your soul, do not hesitate, here and now, to entrust it to the variable storm. An inconstant aurora borealis bursts forth in the night. It spreads, blazing or bleeding, like those footlights that never stop blinking, whether they are switched on or off. It either passes or it doesn’t, but flows elsewhere in a rainbow-coloured stream. You will not change if you do not yield to these inconstancies and deviations. More importantly, you will not know.

GREEN ROCKS! Last night watching Nova’s ep on King Solomon’s Mines was great reminder if mining induced euphoria. Kinda sick, the hidden/forgotten histories and present, but it does delight my mind. Humans floating around, without knowing or understanding…
